For several years, the ACGME competencies have been in place, and fellowship programs must now have established goals and objectives that are organized by competency and level of training. Program Directors and ASPHO Members can access examples of goals and objectives and evaluation tools from the PD link on the ASPHO website. However, a new area of focus for the RRC is on program improvement - engaging in it, and documenting it. A written “program improvement plan” is a must for programs undergoing RRC site review. This workshop will provide valuable and practical tools for program directors to introduce the concept of program improvement into their programs, which will not only enhance the training program itself, but also promote site visit readiness.
